"Joy And Valor Life" YouTube Channel

My sister, Christy, and I decided to form a YouTube channel a few years ago. At that time, we were both going through a season of self-discovery, but for different reasons. I had sort of lost myself in motherhood and being a wife. My entire world was revolved around my children. My youngest son had sensory issues which isolated us from going out. I was slowly drifted away from friends and almost forgot my own identity. During this time, my kids were already a little older and more independent. I felt more comfortable leaving them with dad so that I could have "me time". 

Christy was going through self discovery as well. She was going through a divorce and was having to learn to be independent  and her own woman. She went from being at home under dad's care to being with her husband. She had never lived alone. While she was married, her husband isolated her from her friends and family and was very manipulative. She also lost her identity. They only did the things that her ex enjoyed, so soon those activities were Christy's enjoyments. She was also finding herself.

So we decided it would be fun to start doing different things around town and learning new skills. Together the two of us are silly and adventurous.
